ILSOYADVISOR POST

Agronomy: 2016 ILSoyAdvisor Field Days

If you grow soybeans, then you can’t miss out.

The Illinois Soybean Association checkoff program has one goal—to help our state’s soybean farmers be the most knowledgeable and profitable soybean producers in the world. That’s why we launched the checkoff-funded ILSoyAdvisor.com platform—to help you become better soybean managers, increase your yields and make more money from every acre.

For the second year in a row, we’re hosting a series of regional field days throughout the state—and we want to see you there. Come hear about the technology and practices that are increasing yields and profits at one of three regional events:

  • Northern Field Day: Tuesday, Aug. 2, Hinckley-Big Rock High School, Hinckley, Ill.
  • Central Field Day: Wednesday, Aug. 3, BASF Research Location, Seymour, Ill.
  • Southern Field Day: Thursday, Aug. 4, Industrial Park Road, Benton, Ill.

Join fellow farmers, agronomists and industry representatives to discuss the latest tools and technologies making growers like you more profitable. Presentation topics for ILSoyAdvisor Field Days include:

Soybean Agronomics – Asgrow

Liberty Link® Soybeans and Liberty® Herbicide – Bayer CropScience

High Yields Require Full-Season Management – Helena Chemical Company

Planting Date and Maturity Group Selection – BASF (Seymour only)

Growth Stimulants and Why They Increase Yield – Soy CCA Envoy Adam Day & Jeffrey Bode; Northern Partners Cooperative (Hinckley only)

Soybean Fertility – Soy CCA Envoy Terry Wyciskalla; Wyciskalla Consulting LLC (Benton only)

Don’t wait—register today for the Field Days event nearest you. Visit www.ilsoy.org/fielddays to secure your spot.
