Agronomics: Video: Pulling Tissue Samples

While it is sometimes easy to visually identify nutrient deficiencies in soybeans, tissue sampling validates nutrient concentrations and limitations and allows you to make nutrient adjustments that can increase soybean yields.

In this two-minute video, ISA Technical Consultant Dan Davidson, Ph.D., explains how to pull tissue samples and why sampling plays an important role in identifying and treating nutrient deficiencies.

Tissue samples can be submitted to the University of Illinois Plant Clinic
