Agronomics: Video: Soybean Production with Lynn Rohrscheib, Vermilion Co. Farmer

When Lynn Rohrscheib, Fairmount, Ill., isn’t representing the state’s soybean farmers on the ISA board of directors, she is busy working with her father on their 2,500-acre farm, which includes soybean, corn and wheat rotations.

A wet and cool spring delayed planting at Rohrscheib Farms, as it did on many farms across Illinois. Yet, Rohrscheib is confident that a strong growing season has resulted in strong yields, including a good shot at breaking the 100-bushel barrier in her Yield Challenge plot.
