Illinois Wheat Association 2022 Double Crop Farmers Forum

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. — The Illinois Wheat Association (IWA) in conjunction with the Illinois Soybean Association is excited to announce the Double Crop Farmers Forum, to be held February 8, 2022, at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Mt. Vernon, Illinois.

Presentations at the conference include best practices for maximizing yields of double-cropped wheat and soybeans, methods to manage diseases, fertilizer price update, USDA programs, market outlooks, and more.

Special speakers for this Double Crop Farmers Forum include agronomist Phil Needham of Needham Ag Technologies on cost-cutting strategies, a panel of three winners of the IWA yield contest, crop insurance updates, outlook for fertilizer prices and availability, and price outlooks for fertilizer and for wheat, soybeans, and corn.

“The 2022 Double Crop Forum by IWA will offers producers a chance to learn and ask questions of top specialists across a variety of topics, covering the latest production tips, cutting edge field practices, and market outlooks, said Mike Doherty, Executive Director, Illinois Wheat Association.

Registration is on-site and opens at 7:30 a.m. on February 8 at the DoubleTree by Hilton at Mt. Vernon, Illinois.
